Eastern Shore Aeromodelers Club
AMA Chartered #4095The public is welcome to come watch whatever is going on and whenever we can, we get a transmitter into a visitor’s hands to experience Radio Control airplane flight.
Our mission is to enjoy and promote the art and sport of model aircraft flying and to develop interest within our local communities. To encourage kids to get involved in a hobby that will promote their enthusiasm to learn and to have fun. Our members range to 88 years old drawn together by a common interest in “things that fly”.
Most Sundays when the weather is favorable there are pilots at the field. Members are free to use the field at any time that suits them.
Open meetings are now on hold because it gets dark so early; but we keep it on the calendar for the 2nd Wednesday each month at the field to be arranged as needed and announced through the club newsletter. Meeting time is 7:00 PM and visitors are welcome. If you have an interest in model airplane flying or learning about the different aspects of the hobby, please give us a call, an email, or just stop by on a nice day to catch someone having a good time.
